Here I go, being blessed again! Life is so good in so many ways. I didn't say anything earlier 'cause I wanted to make sure it was OK with Ed to talk about it, but I contracted with him to make me one of his beautiful hand made tumblers. It holds two 3# Lortone barrels. I thought I odered 2, but I only ordered one. Look at this lovely set up: ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/cooky3a/Thumb1.jpg) ![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/cooky3a/thumb2.jpg) I filled up "Big Red" tonight (the model B) and thanks to some donations and everything with a hardness off 6-7 that I had, that 15# sucker is rolling. I'll get another barrel for the "pretty thing" soon and that's all I'll need. Red squeaks a little, and occasionaly whistles. Is that bad? I'm just so d**n happy to be rolling again ;D cookie

Even "Big Red" is pretty quiet. It's in the spare bedroom right now and I can't hear it (except the occasional squeak) but that's only because, by the time I put 15# of rocks, a lbs. of grit and, what, about half a gallon of water in it, it was too heavy for me to risk going down the basement stairs. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) cookie

That is a Very Kewl Unit! Mass production begins when...? I think I would laminate it, glue the barrels to it and hang it on the wall! ;D

Sands, I oiled the holes in the moter, but not the rollers. It got much better so now I know what to do. Banjo, the pics don't do it justice. But I ain't gluing nothing! This pretty thing is gonna run!

Stoner I am really impressed. Very professional. Great design. I like how the motor is cooled. Have you considered making plans and selling them? I would be interested. That is a tumbler I would like in my home. I bet the wood quiets it a bet more than the metal ones.

Hey all. Thanks for the comments on Cookies new "Tumble-Ed" tumbler. I hate to ruin it for her, but take a look at your tumblers after 6months of use, it ain't gonna be pretty forever. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) Doc, and anybody else who's interested, I don't have plans drawn up yet, but I have step-by-step pics of when I was assembling it so you can see how it looks inside. I got the motor and the rollers/bearings at my local industrial surplus place, and I made the pulley, but I guess one could order these things from Thumlers(it's modeled after a two 3lb barrel Thumlers tumbler) and just build the base. Well, enjoy tumbling Cookie, now let's see some nice rock pics. Ed
