;D You can expect some more if you get hit by what came through here. When the snow plow left the yard this morning I have one area that's easily a 10 ft snow bank. It's enough for me to want to figure out how to post pictures.... but I think I just close my eyes and wish for it gone.

I think ya'll got your first snowstorm! It's really pretty, but sure am glad that's not out my front door! I really like the night pic with the red haze from the street lights.
Wiz, now THAT doesn't look like fun! But guess it sure beats shoveling!
We had 61 here yesterday and suppose to be in the low 50's today. Sun is shining. Still colder than I like it, but not complaining after seeing what it looks like where ya'll are!

You guys are lucky to be getting your first snow storm now... We've had ours since early November and it hasn,t really let up - been crazy weatherwise too. 5 deg below freezing one day, 11 degrees above freezing then next and then 26 deg below the next. Makes for a wonderful skating rink in the streets - I have a chunk of ice about 1 foot deep at the end of my driveway.... Global warming - 30 below freezing again today

those are some great shots of some awful weather! Sands, how do you get your trck out from that? around here they announce snow emergency and everyone has to get their vehicles off the road or they get towed away so the plows can clear the snow.
Hey, Herm, maybe you get a Snow Day tomorrow, i heard Boston is still getting snow and Logan Airport was shut done still.
we had about 8 inches all together here (CNY), but it was light and fluffy and easy to plow and shovel.
hope everyone got dug out with no major worries,

yeah juniper, i live in keizer oregon, and it is always just grey and raining, never snow. it gets to about 35 degrees, just cold enough so that is it still rain, and stays that way for the whole winter it seems like

Oregon is SO cool, well the only place in OR that i have ever been is Portland, but we did take a loop run to Tillamook and up the coast. too cool. looked like Venus with all the moss on the trees. we visited Multnomah Falls and came back via Mt. Hood. that was some serious snow.
this was all before i was into rocks, but seriously into beads. Portland has some great Bead shops.
you guys are lucky to live in Oregon!
