When spring hits here (after two feet of snow this weekend, it's hard to believe it'll ever be spring again!) I've GOT to get down to our local river. The stuff you guys pull from the river beds is just too gorgeous! Make sure you post the "after" pics too!

KD-
I would really never consider selling any stuff to you, but would be happy to trade some. I'll see what I can scrap up and send your way in return for a little of your local stuff.
I really don't have a trained eye yet, but maybe I'll get lucky again. Let's keep in touch and do some swapping soon. I'm only about 2minutes from the mountains and can pick you up some on my lunch break. I love to go up and watch the trout anyway.....tough huh???

I have a feeling that the stripes will become more apparent after you tumble them. Tami

Wow, you have some really nice local stuff. Looks like it's something that will take a great shine. Be very interesting to see what the stripes look like after tumbling.

Looks good! What area did you find those in?
We also live in Utah.

Tell-
You know the really cool striped rock I don't know......sad to say. But I work downtown and have been going up City Creek canyon and there are some great outcrops that have cool stuff. I can't wait to get it all polished. I'll keep in touch w/ you and let you know what I find. I really appreciate your PM's and your advice on where you've found stuff and I'll certainly pass on whatever I find.
I've not forgotten your "call" sign and will PM you (again) if I find anything worthwhile.
