I just love this stuff, more pinkish in person. My plan is to donate it to a local youth fundraiser auction coming up and I am wondering if the silver curls are too busy? I tend to prefer a more minimalistic style but my nieces go crazy for the swirly wraps. Thoughts appreciated!

Beautiful. I love the copper accents.
I can see where the swirls would appeal to some. Personal preference.

The stone is fabulous and a great job on the wrap. The curls look good with it

That's so good of you to do. I like it. Some people really go nuts for all the curls. I always thought that was bird's eye rhyolite.

I purchased this on Etsy awhile ago and the seller had it listed as coral stem from India and I bought it out of sheer curiosity. I just went to see if I could find the seller and someone else has the same slabs listed as K2 (not even close)! I will get pics of the rough I have left tomorrow and see if I can get the color better too.

Here is the rough I have left. Veins are metallic and the eyes are blueish, if that helps with I'ding. Last thing I want to do is donate a piece that is improperly named!

Yup, Bird's Eye rhyolite (sometimes listed as jasper).
Very attractive - both the stone and what you did with it.
