OK, I cheat a bit. When I can find little beaded or leather cord necklaces on sale cheap, I use them for my pendents. I found 4 necklaces for about $1 each on sale, one beaded, and have started using leather shoestrings we give away for free at work as well. Here's the cheapy buys: The first one is rock from my mothers garden, the second flint ridge flint This is a pretty beaded number I altered a bit, also with a rock from mom's garden. I got some nice stones there.: I found some memory wire hoops for 88 cents, but they are really big, so Im going to embelish on the a bit before posting. Hope ya like ;D cookie

Cook-
There you go....those are cool. My daughter would go nuts over a homemade necklace/pendant. One day I'm gonna have to upgrade my skills!!!!
Good job as always,

Those are really nice necklaces, sometimes using a leather cord instead of a chain makes it more masculine, and leaves the choices for people more open. Tami

Thanks all! I can't get the hang of this honkin 15# tumbler. I can't seem to work up a decent slurry before the grit is history. I checked it every 3 days (out of force of habit) and have recharged it twice. It's been 2 1/2 weeks now and I recharged 3 days ago. I have vowed not to open it for 1 full week. The rocks are moving slow but sure, and I guess I'm just used to a faster pace and a thicker slurry from the vibe. It's gonna be just fine, I just need to be mor patient, I guess. I have the 15#er and one 3# barrel for another tumbler (I need to order another barrel, it will run 2). If I pressure wash the Thumblers B can I go from 60/90 to 120/220 in the same barrel? I'm on vacation this week, as is my brain. Have been trying to remain primarily null and void.

Now Cookie ...
Sit back and have a glass of wine, kick your heels up and enjoy the constant rumble and roll of the tumbler. Get real comfortable and slip off into a blissfull sleep and dream of the 1500# tumbler and the truckloads of grit and polish that all somehow fit into your kitchen cabinets. I love that dream ;D

Cookie, It's just gonna take longer with the Model B than it did with your vibe. You're gonna have to let it run for a week (or more). You know how we all talk about 'patience'? Now you see what everyone who runs rotaries is going thru. You can do this, Cookie, and at the end, you will enjoy the outcome!
With my tumblers, I run 60/90 and 120/220 in the same barrels. I don't pressure wash. I just run each load in Borax before changing grit. Seems to work well for me.
Good luck!
