(the red dot isn't in the stone, it's the camera, sorry) and here it is backlit: name that stone, same rules apply, one member, one name, change if you will before wednesday, i'll put the best names up on wednesday 8pm for voting..poll will go till next saturday at 8pm.. good luck! It's too bad that the red isn't part of the stone it looks a bit like the heiroglyphic "dogs" on the walls of caves.
My name: Caramel Opulence

Oh, that one is easy. I first thought of hair folicle. It looks like an hair folicle, at least the first one if we discount the Ceylon Eye Light in the front. However, it kinda looks like the Marianas Trench in the pacific. Marianas Trench. That would be a fun place to live. Pressure so great, steel is folded, fish explode when they are brought up, no light for centuries, and best of all, it is so deep No Electricals! Those daggoned things keep talking and making my ears ring. All night, all day, next night, even when I had my teeth pulled, bad Electricals. Good work Krazy. Keep on grindin..... Grind on you Krazy Diamond.

At least, when they pulled my teeth, I have no covert transmitters hidden in my teeth. They are all gone. I was always afraid the dentists were conspiring and putting transmitters that used the electricals in the wall to record my thoughts. They learned that technology from the "it didn't happen" craft at area 51. I sleep better now. No more tooth transmitters. I used to chew on tinfoil after getting a filling. It hurt sometimes but that meant I was shorting out a transmitter.

OK I got one. Looks to me like layers and one level rising through the next so I am going with (drum roll) 'Stratum Emerging' Yeah, I like that. Much better than 'Picasso's purple pants', I must say.

KD, great looking stone.
Ok, I'll say "Intrusion" - as I think thats the geological name for magma rising through strata.
Nice - "Subcutaneous" comes to mind, but Ill stick with the former.
Nice work again.

Nice stone KD. It reminds me of my younger days at the free concerts in Golden Gate Park in SF, the music, the mind altering aroma in the air, and the hippie chicks moving with the music. In this case, a petite blonde, so I'll call it...TINY DANCER.

The design and colour remind me of the beach scene with all those striped beach chairs and tents...long time ago. therefor I call it :"Buttocks at Beach"
