I'm talking to a client in my rock shop who is buying really nice cabs to make lamp finials with. I asked for a pic or link. I think that is the most unusual thing that a client has bought for. They must be nice lamps because the stones are higher end.

If she sends you a pic or link, please share. This sounds like a really cool idea. I wonder if she's making stained glass lamps?

I have a customer who buys cabs to set in the handles of whips! Mostly wants round cabs, which I don't do many of. She has bought from me at a show in Moab Utah 2 or 3 different years. Lynn

I'm afraid to ask what the whips are used for!

What a great idea, lamp finials. I have used cabs for the pull chains on ceiling fans in the past.

He just bought another one- one I would love to see in jewelry, but it will light up beautifully. I feel compelled to send him something to work with and I think I will.
