please note the correct voltage ;D this is my everday tin foil hat, not my sunday-go-to- meetings tinfoil hat. my husbands only comment was (after looking at Cookies photo and helping me take mine) "if this is what the rock dust is doing to your brain, you'd better start wearing a mask." KD

Oh, A+ for style! Did you see the movie "Excaliber"? Merlin had a tin foil hat like that. Well done, now turn that battery around and get to jolting ;D ;D ;D That will get your points for conductivity and you can measure the signals when you come to. Too rich, KD! cookie

Tom, they are just warming up. The big kickoff is when they get wrapped up in saran wrap, make a serious tinfoil hat, plug in the 9 volt battery to their tongue, and sing Mellow Yellow or Atlantis. I'll be honest, these little ladies have some real Moxie. This might be a sappy forum about making rocks spin around in a circle in a rubber drum, but the courage and fortitude of these little ladies to show us how save our selves. Being men, not girly guys trying to speak in a deep voice, we are held back by our unfullfilled applications to Men's Town. Joan of Arc was a similiar example except they had not figuired out how to refine aluminum. They are showing us how to save ourselves. Not to mention, a little eye candy to have with our regular fare of polished stones. What could be better than that?

Joan of Moxie, wasn't she from New Jersey?
seriously, if you can't laugh at yourself you shouldn't laugh at anyone else.
Cookie, do we have to name these hats or just have the cojones to post them?
when does the competition end?

Indeed. There is indeed a lot of time to reflect between cycles. Once the lid is sealed, it is time to let the mind soar. Let the grumps grump. We are going to be one with the Floyd.

Oh, my, I am being taken seriously? The compotition begins now, if there are those who honestly want to pacticipate. I think it would be a whoooole lota fun, don't you? Tommorrow evening I will start a new post for the Tin Foil Hat Liberation Army (TFHLA) and all who are interested, please commence making tin foil hats for display. You don't have to model them, you can just post the hat on a stand if you like, with battery(s) attatcheed or near by, if you are shy. It won't count against your score. Obviously, KD and I are not of the introverted persuasion, at least after the third glass of wine. Come one, come all! Had a little dissagreement with my Mom tonight, so tommorrow my head should be clear and clean and we'll go from there, K? Good Luck! (Doc, you started it, show us what you got ) cookie

okay...I'm not sure about the battery (was I supposed to hear Dan Rather chanting the kama sutra?) but here's my offering. The horns aren't part of the hat...they're mine...it's a long story.

The Floyd calls the Doc.
His teeth are no more.
His head - full of passion - yearns to release the lesser soul and make it more AWARE of that which is around him - and indeed the lesser souls.
The COLD bites hard, but not on his head where the TIN ALSO REFLECTS COLD.
DEATH AWAITS YE ALL WITH NASTY BIG POINTY TEETH.
Kickahaaa - my shin.
And in the near future Andromeda Smashes the Milky Way, but all is not lost - until we reach the Virgo Super Cluster of course.....................
Thy tin hats will protect thee from the blackness no more than a shanty wooden shack protected Dorothy from the storm.
However Ruby shoes may help one pass the canyon.
I shall refrain my own tin hat.
Mark.

AAAAAAH perhaps you're right An...er...Mark...but it turns out the true storm was within Dorothy...it was all a dream. Perhaps you're all just figments of my imagination...maybe the only solid thing any of us is the rock...the rock...PUT ON YOUR HAT AND CLING TO THE ROCK!

LOL - I have consulted my rabbits
(Their names/titles are)
1. Data - Commander 2. Picard - Captain
It is dark here at the moment, but they will be prepared for a photo shoot tomorrow.
A rabbit thought is worth 10,000 signals from an unknown source.
Cling to the CENTER of the universe.
