Thank you!
Now all we have to do is figure out what to make with them. Been gathering wire wrapping stuff, but not very good at it.

Tell-
Nice job man. Great to see you got the digi cam working and are posting your treasures.
Excellent specimens. Since you are the Utah expert. Any places to find agate like that here in the Beehive State?
keep 'em coming.

They are Botswana Agate. And they are VERY hard. They tumbled in course for over two months to get into shape. I was starting to think they would never get to the polish stage. It was worth it! They came out very nice.
Can anyone tell why my pics end up soooo large? What am I doing wrong?

Hey I got a Botswainian nodule I just broke up (wacked that puppy with a hammer and chisel) and I was thinking Damn this is some hard a$$ agate- Now I see it ran for 2 months It was gonna be my next tumble but now I think I'll wait till I get another tumbler - did you tumble it alone or did you have some filler? if you had filler what did you use? Oh man those pictures have stuck in my mind for soo long- I can get more of it (like $5 a fist size nodule) so now I'm thinking it is time for a trip back to my local shop and pick up some more- then run a load by itself. What do ya think (oh and the large pics were kinda cool- but you probably need to resize them before posting (depending what progam you use)

The Botswana Agate were in the tumbler with all sorts of different rocks. Agate, Jasper, Obsidan, Flint, Amethyst, Quarts, Petrified Wood, Dalmation Stone, Sodalite & Tiger Eye.
The Botswana Agate was going so long, it was the filler. Seemed to take forever!
And I know some stones don't mix well together, but I have never had a problem (yet).
