Magnet clasps.
Based on recommendations received on RTH, these arrived yesterday.
A good friend who I do jewelry repairs and custom work ordered them for me on Tuesday. She received them on Thursday. Said shipping was reasonable. Gave them to me last night. High strength Neodymium magnet clasps.
My friend liked that they were from a magnet manufacturer and not a jewelry supply business.
She gave me more of the same styles in different colors/finishes. About 25 total clasps.
Included the warning sheet on the use of magnets, which is 2 pages long. Showed me CMS cares about their customers.
Here are my initial observations:
From left in photo.
High strength. Should work well for heavier weight bracelets and necklaces. Both 1-2.
Three. Medium strength.
Four. Extremely high strength. Excellent for the stone lanyards I make. My only concern would be for others who use these that are not used to working with high strength magnets or owning jewelry with these.
All are on clearance right now for about $.96 each in lots of 6 pieces.
