Well, I did it again. Ruined a great looking piece of material with my black sharpie. It's only happened once before with a very very similar piece of Peach Lace Agate. This is Manhattan Lace and was shaping up to be a gorgeous cab.

You could easily convince me that the marked area is actually part of the rock.
Don’t cry!! It’s lovely!

I agree with Pat. It does look like part of the pattern.

I intend to try the acetone, but goof off? I love the way it smells at least! I also switched to a gold sharpie but the oil in the rock saw washed it off so I switched back. Thanks to Tela I now have water in my saw. I made the switch and love it!

I use a really soft lead pencil on stuff that is porous and totally avoid that problem. It's a little harder to see, but water doesn't seem to wash it off much.

I had Tool Cool and am using 2oz to one quart. Should I still drain or after each use? He said to keep an eye out for the beginnings of corrosion. All input welcome.

I think the point to using the additive is that it is a rust inhibitor and you can leave it in. I just bought some Smokey's EZ Cut for my new rock rascal. ezcut.us/trim-saw-size-16-oz-bottle/

I should capitalize on it somehow

Maybe my Vinyl Stickers may be good for something.
