My work is improving. Two new cabs, 3 fixes and a recut. The Pietersite has some flash in the blue, but the cab doesn't have as strong an appearance that I was hoping for. The Howardite held together nicely.

I've been struggling with getting good pictures for quite a while. One issue was focus and that was because of hand movement when pressing the shutter button. I've practiced keeping my hands still. The next is lighting. I discovered by accident that I have excellent lighting when the sun is low in the sky and comes through the window and onto the table I photograph at. Polish is a factor of the material and the photograph. I've taken many, many pictures of my avatar cab and none of them looked like the cab until I discovered the lighting.

I use the timer, mine has 2 seconds and 10 seconds on the timer, I always put my camera on a little tripod and use the 2 second timer, press the button and take my hand away, no movement whatsover while the shutter snaps. Sure has made a huge difference. Tony PS the Howardite is bad tushy
