Wow, Ron! What incredible work! It's really beautiful!
What made you decide to do the likenesses of the Beatles? Are you a fan?
Thanks for sharing that. You are an inspiration!

Unbelieveable, a truly outstanding job. You are very talented Ron!! That's a really neat idea to do the Beatles like that and that handle, I can't believe the work you put into that. A true craftsman!!

Beautiful Ron. Carving in oak is hard enough, but carving on a small curved surface like that is I'm sure is very tricky. It came out great. One question, did you oil the stone handle? It looks darker on the finished cane than when you were shaping it.

Holy cow, Ron, that is incredible! What a work of art! Did you shape the handle with a dremel? And the carving! WOW! You are definitely gonna be stylin' when you use that cane!

Although I am not a Beatles fan, I think that is a wonderful way to pay a tribute to the Beatles. If you were to sell it you would probably get a good price, depending on how many people out there are looking for Beatles stuff. You did a great job especially on the Rhyolit. Tami

truly amazing job, love the "time lapse" progress photos, really shows the amount of work involved. you have real talent, Ron and a heck of a lot of patience!
(how can anyone NOT be a Beatle fan?)

Wow that is amazing!! Wish I had a tenth of that talent. Heck a hundredth would be nice. Tumbling is about all I can manage.
That is really a work of art! Do you have pics of other canes you have done? One day I am going to need one and the store ones made of metal aren't what I'm looking for.

ok i had to call my husband over to see these canes ron. he always drags his feet coming to see anything on the computer until he saw them. he thinks you are "the" craftsman and he enjoyed the pics where you showed how you made the hole in the stone.

I hated the beatles when I first heard them on our radio many moons ago. I thought they had rubbish music. My younger brother Leo was all crazy about them . It goes to show what a few years difference in age can do haha.
But Wow Ron you have made a truly amazing piece there good likeness of the beatles too .
Congrats on your achievement AAA or ***** rating
