I like those pictures, they are like the ones I take. Upon looking, I would go a little longer in at least the medium grit. That might make the final polish deeper. There are still some "soft" spots on the stones. When they are polished, the semi clear stones with the black spots will really look great.

OK OK OK- Sorry Ummm temporary user inability to do something correctly- But here is the thing- The picture looked good on the laptop- then I looked at it on here and it looks like crap- Oh and I put them back in the tumbler for another week in course- After they dried I was not happy what else -oh I got 5 lbs of Ocean jasper from the gem shop- and the chip were what was in th bottom of the box- I hated to just toss it so I figured what the heck- I'll tumble it- I feel bad so I'll take it out tonight and re-shoot it- I really thought the pic was better than it showed up- try checking back after 5:00 EST tonight- Oh and the batteries are all recharged so I have no excuses this time!

You could always blame it on user error - I did and you seem to get more sympathy for user error than failing batteries At least you were sympathetic towards my pathetic use of a digital camera - much appreciated - I'll sympathise with you as well

Thank you- I went to photobucket and checked the pix there- and they are awful- I think I'm gonna leave work early and try again- And there was user error- but not to worry- I have figured out how to post pictures so I can figure out how to take a decent photo

OK I deleted the other pic and now I can't plug in the correct one in the original spot (gosh how do these computer thingys work) So here is the new SCAN (no more photos till I get a tripod!) Hope this is better- oh and sorry about that other photo- It really did suck - these chips are no bigger than a dime- and I did have a quarter in for reference but the glare off it kept fading out the rocks when I scanned (I almost put the whole lot in the trash) OK guys back into the course for another week!

No wonder you saved all the bits and pieces. they are shaping up pretty darn good......love those little eyes on them.

Oh yeah, now it no longer looks like an arial view of a pizza pie. Those will be nice when they're finished. They could probably be drilled and make nice beads, or put them on a French fish hook ear wire. Post the finished product, and lets see what you end up with. BTW, if they are THAT smal I would consider running them in course just a few days longer and maybe run them longer in the 120/220 so you don't loose them completely in the 60/90.
