Did AM chores in sleet today.
It is almost June, come on.....
Have never had furnace running this late before.

It's a weird weather year, for sure. All week we've had rain and cold temperatures -- 36 or 37 when we get up. There was frost on the windshield of my car this morning. Thankfully, the sun is finally out today. I may actually be able to get something done outside.

You might hate me for saying this, but we're having March weather in May here in AZ too, but that's a good thing. Coolest spring I've ever seen here, it's the end of May and we haven't hit triple digits once yet (did have a couple of 99s).

I was sitting in the branch of my cherry tree yesterday, eating fresh ripe cherries... in my winter coat. Weather is totally confused this year. In March we were in T-shirts, now we still have furnace running.

We're clear of the really cold but the rain has been a different story. I've coached baseball and softball for many years and this is the wettest spring I remember. Only got one practice in before our first game (fields were so wet that the town would not even let us on the fields on the very rare days it did not rain) and I like to practice. Have to admit the team did awesome anyways.

I was teasing the kids after the game that we would only practice once a month now. The parents who have had children with me before knew better. Al
