OK i havent been doin much lately ---but i havent stoped buyin rock hahaha---so heres what i got waitin for my new saw stonecanyon jasper two chunks 21-lb owyhee jasper 11-lb mc dermite pic jasper 15-lb

oh my! those are some whopping big chunks there, Sands! can't wait to see what you fond inside! will your new saw be able to slab those monster chunks?

wow sands! i hope you'll show us the slabs when your saw gets there. when is the saw getting there?? at least you already know how to use yours and won't have any hold-ups trying to get someone to help you.

hi all i cant get in this thread unless i catch it when its the last thread with a reply and its at the bottom as the last update --i dont know why but i cant --i cant wait till the saw gets here i just got these this week --one might be too big for the saw so i might have to send it to kim and let her slab it for me hahaha,,, ill hafta see if it will fit or not ---but they do look like there gonna give up some nice slabs i got my fingers crossed

Wow John. You don't mess around when you order rocks any more. There's a lot of good lookin' slabs in those rocks. Where'd ya get these from?

i forgot the saw should be here next week or the week after --i dont know why it takes lortone so long to make a saw the guy said they make them as there ordered and the wait time is 6 to 8 weeks --im pretty sure this week wil be 6 weeks so i got my fingers crossed hahaha

i picked them up on ebay i was just lucky and i think most people dont have a saw big enuff to slab them so they wouldent bid that high to take a hammer to them,, that would be a shame to do
i still have one more chunk commin a 16lb chunk of succor creek pic. jasper

The stone canyon is nice, there just aren't enough yellow stones out there.

Hey Sands, What are you typing on Ebay to find the large agates? I usually put in rough agates. Is that what you are doing? I like to pick up some monsters go give the ol' 20 incher a work out.

I would almost be tempted to leave that whole! Seriously, the designs and shapes are so large, they are best appreciated in the rough. But then, seriously, you don't think I wouldn't be sawing that sucker up after about 2 minutes of "appreciation"? ;D cookie
