A lot of ppl use a water pik, too. I use a stiff brush and canned air.

I don't think those little ultrasonics are going to be strong enough to do much of anything for you. I would soak the pieces in some laundry detergent (gets the dirt out - Dawn for grease) and then give them a good scrubbing with a stiff brush like Tela said. If you can find toothbrushes made for dentures, those are excellent because they are very stiff and can get in the little nooks and crannies.
