This is pretty similar to the last copper complex one that I posted here a couple weeks ago. I wanted to know the names of the minerals you think are in it. It was collected outside of Tuscon also. Do you think the little bright blue could be turquoise? vegasjames I'd love your thoughts again.

Very pretty. Looks like copper complex: chrysocolla (aqua blues), azurite (intense pure blue), and perhaps some cuprite (reddish).

Wow those shined up really nice.
The dark blue is definitely azurute.
I see a couple of small specks that look like they could be turquoise in the bottom of the smaller stone in the first pic and the tip of the larger one. Really hard to say though for sure without some testing.
The matrix shows some clarity and took a great shine and also looks like a lot of the color is staining so I think the main matrix is actually silicated chrysocolla, which is actually a term used for chalcedony stained with copper salts. Silicated chrysocolla can run from clear to opaque but most copper minerals are opaque, which is why I think this is a copper stained chalcedony instead.

Awesome thanks. The dark rusty red color stained the water when I cabbed it. I just love these colors in these material!
