I'm probably not going to word this correctly so I hope you all know what I'm talking about. Where would one go to find out how to do the different kinds of faceting cuts? Hubby wants to do other cuts that his book doesn't show.

Otter, the internet has a plethora of FREE facet cuts. Graham Faceting is my favourite. Not only does he know his stuff, but he will respond to e-mails. We have conversed many times. He does some great cuts, and I have successfully sold many of his designs in my work. They are the bread and butter of faceting in my opinion.

Good Morning Otter,
I was just looking through my Graves Book and there are a lot of books/publications on Faceting. There are books for the beginner through advanced cutter, and some of them are fairly reasonable.
In case you don't have a Graves catalog (you can get one by calling 1-800-327-9103), here are the listings for faceting:
Facet Cutters Handbook - 64 pages @ 4.50
Introduction to Meetpoint Faceting - 100 pages @ 13.50
Facet Design - 7 volumes @ 10.95 each (set for 68.97)
Faceting for Amateyrs - 330 pages @ 40.00
Diagrams for Faceting - Three Different Volumes @ 30.00 each
Fundamental Faceting - 32 pages @ 8.95
Book of Gem Cuts - 4volumes @ 7.95 each (set for 28.95)
I am sure that there are many other books that have been written on the subject. But, this will give you an idea of what it readily available.
Enjoy,
John
