Not my photo, but had to share. Updated photos: He had frequent hiccups the last 2 months prior to delivery. Here is a photo during hiccups: Here is one after they stopped: He appears to love having hiccups. Both Dr. and Abdulla, feel this takes him back to his comfort zone. They said the hiccups were nothing to worry about. Here is one from yesterday: Unfortunately, a sinus infection and frequent coughing will prevent a birthing center visit. He is soooooo cute. Cannot wait to meet him Tuesday. His eyes are blue-grey. Very active when awake. My daughter compared him to a tiny 3-4 month old. Avery, Mom and Dad are doing fine. Avery is in best condition of the bunch. Daughter still has lots of wires and tubes.

Awww... he's so adorable! If he could talk he would be asking what all the fuss was about. I'm fine!
I'm so happy for y'all. Love a story with a happy ending.
C'mon Tuesday!

Beautiful! He seems so much older. He's really alert.
Being pregnant with a baby with hiccups is funny. My kids often had them, too.

One more, then I will top posting photos. My Son in Law is loving being able to stay in their Birthing Center room. A far cry when women were only brought their child at times and husbands were only visitors. Avery stays in the room with them. Has a crib. Nothing out of the ordinary, so far. If Daughter and Son in Law do not call anyone for a couple of hours, he is checked. Almost all care the past couple of days has been done by them. They are recording findings, such as heart rate, BP, oxygen levels. Also noting movement, eating time, diaper changes, etc. The chart is checked and nothing abnormal has showed up. Avery is sleeping on Dad's chest about 1-2 hours daily. I thought this photo was so precious.

Great picture, Beth fernwood! So nice to see that the birthing center recognizes Dad's need to bond, too. Sounds like a cool place.
