Went to a garage sale on way to work yesterday. Paid 25 cents for this. Has anyone used one before? There were no instructions, other than those on the box. All interior components are unused. Figured it would be great for macro photos or those taken from afar of wildlife. Thanks.

I used something similar and it worked OK. Before that, I put a jeweler's optic under the camera lens. The device worked better than that. I have since misplaced it. I just tried to find the instructions and they are long gone too. I am not much help here. ;-)

I have not tried this type but have tried screw in lenses for my phone camera. They fell apart pretty quick so don't bother with them anymore.
The reason I have never tried these clip on type lenses is that they will not clip on with my protective case. Because of the mining I have a heavy duty aluminum casing with gorilla glass protecting my phone. And it is too thick to allow these lenses to clip on.
I would expect though that you would have to have the phone on a stand to keep it really still when taking telephoto shots.
