It seems like a long time, but I finally got some of the Burro Creek agate polished. I love the browns and some of it hasd some really interesting dendrites. Sandsman slabbed one for me. I need to go get some more. I think I have about 30 pounds left, but found out my grandson turns 3 this weekend so that puts the 'Kybasch' on this weekend trip. I need to hit the rock show in Tucson Sunday, and time rolls on. Next Saturday then. I need to get that illusive pastel purple stuff and of course green quartz- The nice thing about this stuff is the variety from rock to rock. I personally like the carmel color best

I can't believe all of that is the same stuff, especially the speckled stuff in the top photo. Awesome shine, yup, I think you need to get some more too. You're a good Grampa, with your priorties in order, hard as that may be ... Happy Birthday to the little one.

Oh so pretty, and what a shine! What was you formula? I think I need to try a new polish. Such a variety too. Just can't say enough!

The one with all the dendrites is what can be found in the Burro Creek area with all the rest of the agate. You can see that a couple of pieces polished have a lot of dendrites in, that last one just happened to be have tham all the way through. That's why I sent it to Sandsman to slab. I didn't want to smack it with a hammer. The area has all sorts of agate with different colors and patterns, and thopse with the dendrites. I only brought a few back with me on the last trip, but I got a new/used Toyota 4 Runner, so I'm not getting stuck in the sand washes like I did last time I went up there. Otherwise it's a six mile walk to the nearest road.

my favorite is the one with the dendrites in 1st pic on left or maybe the one over right of that and up higher. they are all great!
love those slabs. i see pink and purple in them. you should be able to make some gorgeous pendants from them.

Thanks Banjo for sharing this real nice shiny line of rocks with us . a job well done indeed.
The last time I purchased new polish from my supplier he suggested :" Pro-polish" and wow did it work well , I still have to get the fotos on photobucket.
Thanks again
