I got some Kona Dolomite from Jugglerguy several years ago and I think this came from one of the very last pieces to be slabbed. This is one of the best quality cabs I think I have cut from this material. Good color and a bit harder then most.

I’ve gone twice, I do plan to go back this summer. I have quite a bit left, but not much of the really nice stuff. I’m going to be much, much more selective this time.

Don’t get too excited, the really nice stuff was difficult to find the last time I looked. That was a couple years ago, so I don’t know if the current part of the quarry is any different than where they were digging before.
