My youngest grandson has a friend who is really into rocks. They are 15. He's going to bring him over for a rocks field trip. Grandson says his friend would kill to see my rocks. Of course, I'll have to work in a little education and encouragement, too. It's so nice to see kids who want to learn more and it gives me a chance to geek out.

That is very cool for both of you. It's always fun to talk/work with a younger person who is enthusiastic about something that you can help them with. It's why I love coaching so much. Getting to meet you and benefit from your experience and see what you create will no doubt be a big inspiration for him.

I had no idea he was into rocks. I'm already planning to make a leather thong necklace for him with his choice of tumble. It'll be cool.
