So, I am a proud Grandma, for the first time. Spent some time with Avery, AKA AJ and my daughter yesterday. He mostly slept in my arms, but I did help my daughter with some things while she was holding him. Then I held him and kept him asleep so she could move around and do needed stuff. he mot important things were to eat and prepare snacks for herself, as she "knew" she would be holding him until her husband returned from work 3 hours later. Every time it appeared he was going to wake up, I was able to get him back to sleep. When I said I had to leave, daughter was concerned he would wake up. I used some special techniques to insure he would stay asleep when I put him in her arms. I can stop with the baby pics at any time, but he is just so cute and mature for his age. Love my 1-3 times/week visits with him. Oh yes, it was a pain in the hand holding him. One blister shows in photo. OK, I had to add this one. Cat pictured is the one my son in law rescued after she was thrown from a van. He was on patrol at the time and witnessed. She has been avoiding AJ. Glad to see the three of them together.

I knew I liked that baby for some other reason than it being so cute, the nickname!
From one A.J. to another.
Al/rockindad/AJ IV (my son who is my partner in rocks is AJ V)
