Video does do a better job of showing how the colors flash in and out of view. You're getting some nice cuts!

Gorgeous. I always have a problem cutting obsidian, can a dull blade cause this?

Gorgeous. I always have a problem cutting obsidian, can a dull blade cause this? Obsidian actually dresses a blade up - that's why I got it often... There are a few tricks to bring the diamonds back out on a saw blade... Some use a file, some a ball pin hammer... Tap lightly on the face of the blade while manually rotation the blade..(Gentle taps)

Gorgeous. I always have a problem cutting obsidian, can a dull blade cause this? Obsidian actually dresses a blade up - that's why I got it often... Nailed it, they look awesome. Do you make some experimental cuts to get the orientation just right or can you tell from the rocks exterior? Never cut Obsidian like this, my understanding is you need to get it just right.
