I recently got my slab saw going and wanted something to slice so I grabbed a geode I thought was solid and sliced it in two. To my surprise there was a cavity and in the cavity there was a crystal of some kind growing in the normal matrix of crystals.
Can anyone identify the grey/silver crystal?

Closeup - a little fuzzy

It has a definite shape

The size of the cavity is about 1 1/2 inches by 3/4 of an inch. The crystal appears about 1/4 inch.

ROTFLMAOTRDMF Help I can't breath That was why too funny- Oh the mystry crystal is it metalic looking or more transperient- I have several geodes with oddities- one with calcite growing on the quartz- another with secpter quartz still another that floureses (sp- you know glows under a black light) Any way still a cool find!

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite
