Got a LFRB. Only one available was 12” by 12” by 6” in size. Asked counter person if they had the deeper one. Was told that with the 2019 changes this was the only LFRB size available. This presents a huge problem. Was the deeper LFRB eliminated?
Or was this the easy answer from my PO?

I just went on the USPS website. Looks like that's it. Dang. Love the deeper boxes. Now have to remove all of the slabs from the Traveling Rock Box. Then cut new pieces of cardboard to mount them to. Tape all onto them, transferring ID info onto them. The only cards of slabs in the rock box that fit into the LFRB are ones I added. The MFRB it came in was a little deeper. Due to work schedule, I cannot get this done in the next 2 days. Maybe Wednesday, depending on tips received to purchase more tape, as I will need a lot. |

Was the deeper LFRB eliminated? Or was this the easy answer from my PO? Yes. The size of the LFRB hasn't changed (just the cost to ship it). Its been 12 x 12 x 6 exterior since it was introduced. They do have a longer, shallower version that is 24 x 12 x 3, though. |
