The nest is certainly well-disguised. Nice that the little barrel and prickly pear cacti were blooming. Grandkid looks Delighted - I'm guessing he's spotted a rock that needs to be squirt from that bottle.

That nest was actually a close call. I had pulled off to the side of the road so people would have room to pass and it was about 6 inches from my tire. I'm so happy that I wasn't over further! The cacti are actually beautiful this time of year- but they still hurt!
Oh yes, he used plenty of water on the trip!
