So, have been drooling over folks' work with Botswana agates since I joined this forum. Finally bought some from Kingsley North several weeks ago. Was initially skeptical that it was a "good" batch. O ye of little faith! Here are a few from a 6 lb barrel that has been running about 3 weeks in rough grind. (Wet, of course.) There appear to be very few "duds", and there are more different colors than I initially thought. Whee! (As an aside, don't forget that the Kingsley North site quotes pretty astronomical shipping charges, but if you contact them they are extremely helpful and friendly, and will work with you to get your order into FRBs.)

I really like your Bots.
I am a big fan of banded agates and the Botswana and Madagascar and Lake Superior banded agates are my favorites.
Like you when I first started tumbling rough banded agates it looked like a had a sack of Irish potatoes that had been hit by the blight in my tumbler. However a couple of weeks in my rotary tumbler with course grit removed the ugly potato like skin on them and their beauty started to become very apparent. They are reasonably hard and take a high polish.
I hope you post more pictures of them.
