For those that the fire obsidian is new for and those that love pretty rocks , here are some of the others I've worked on recently but in video format, which shows how cool this stuff is much better than a still photo (when not fighting camera focus challenges).

You are KILLING IT! As absolutely gorgeous as those are- your work is just fantastic! No flaws at all. All I see is perfection.
Tell me more about #2. Did it come natural like that with the border around the lines of fire? That thing has to be one in a million. OMG! That's awesome!
I rarely ever see any for sale. How did you get so much?
ETA Just read the other thread- Good for you that you were able to spend some time with a master.
What a healthy addiction!

Thanks, Tela! The rocks get all the credit, that beauty is all them As you probably read in the other thread, I got it from the source - Emory Coons #2 is actually two layers of fire really close together. The bottom is, as far as I can tell, just smooth fire without any lines or patterns. The top layer has it's own color band plus those really awesome lines. I peeled the top layer back a bit to expose the bottom as a border, but that's as far as I dared take it - a second or two too long on the wheel and *poof*, the fire is gone forever, so I decided to call it good there and let that be the finished cut.
