I felt like doing something different. I pulled some slabs out of the variscite box and cut two. I had a badly fractured slab of Morgan Hill and found a one poppy scene. The challenge was putting a high dome while maintaining the poppy; mixed success and I need to go back to 325. I focused on keeping the poppy and not scratches. Lastly, I had some low grade red dino bone. I cut a free form and saw a vug. Cut it off and saw another vug and cut it off. I would have had needed to redesign and the bone wasn't very good so I abandoned it. The big variscite was harder material and not that interesting. I'm pleased with the 30x24 pear. Most of the variscite cabs I've seen are free forms. URL=http://imgbox.com/WDvJ9NwC] [/URL]

After posting about circles and recovering mistakes, I wasn't as careful with soft material as I needed to be and screwed up one side of the 40x24 pear. After multiple attempts at a fix I ended up with this which is not perfectly symmetrical but ok.
