sorry, this doesnt really have anything to do with rocks this past friday and saturday was our state championship swim meet for highschool swimming, and this is a picture that my local paper took of me coming up out of the water after my start for the 100 backstroke. I ended up 3rd in it, and the two guys that beat me are seniors which is good news for next year! I also got an all-american consideration time in this race

Thumbs up to you, JK!
By the time you are a senior, you will be blowing them away!

Hey congrates- I have a nephew who is a freshman swimmer and he has been kicking the seniors butts in practice! Of course when It comes to the meets them seniors seem to be able to dig a bit deeper!

Hey JK,
Congratulations ... nest year give em h_ll.
I remember swimming in Northern Oklahoma when I was a kid. The Virdegris River! I was walking out in the water when something bit my little toe. Talk about scared as can be ... here I am trying to swim back to shore and kick what ever it was that had my toe loose from my foot ... but the pain was terrible ... thus making me ever more scared.
My dad told me that I had a rooster tail coming off of me when I was swimming! All I know ... is that when I got back to shore .. I had a small (thank GOD) snapping turtle attached to my toe. We couldn't get it off ... so dad ended up cutting off it's head so that we could get it off of my toe. I still have a scar to this day on my toe, I guess the turtle thought that he had found a meal!
Very scary for a kid in the ninth grade!
