Hi everyone! Help please! I have had a couple like this in smaller pieces, and they’re pretty, but this big one.... 🤤 i want to display it, but I’d also like to know what it is, when people ask. thanks for looking, and thanks for helping! mindy

Looks like slag glass to me, it is an attractive one. Where did you find it?

It was in a mixed bag from The Rock Shed. I just cannot find it on their website to ID it.

They have tumbling rough on there called Mexican moss & Mexican Lace
If you look at the pictures, it is quite possible its one of those 2

The slag glass is neat.
It it is a really nice piece of rock, and as I said, it came from the rock shed, was definitely harder then glass! I tumbled it with other jaspers, agates, and quartz.
Well, now that I know what it is, I can put it out on display and can tell people what it is when they ask!

CAn you share a photo after tumbling? This is after tumbling! I only have a vibratory tumbler, so they don’t get all rounded. It’s nice and shiny!! Took polish very well.
