I bought a piece on ebay for $35 including shipping. I had the trim saw set up so I hand slabbed. With fractures I got 3 once cab slabs. At least, it has the pattern I wanted. Marcasite surrounded by clear agate. The mainly marcasite slabs aren't as interesting.

I like slabs/cabs made of material with metal in it. The metal takes a great shine. Your combo pieces are very attractive. Thanks.

Really looking forward to what you do with these as that material looks great already.

This was one cut from some material I had that I was trying to get more of. Is that the Indonesian variety? There's seems to have more carnelian. Most of the Indo stuff seems more colorful.

Whoever sold it to me didn't identify it as Indonesian. It's getting confusing now when material named after a geographical location comes from somewhere else. Butterfly wing which is from Mexico is being used on Australian material. Next, Morgan Hill from China?

Yeah, I acquired some dragon stone which was said to be from Australia, now I see someone else say it is from S. Africa. Guess I gotta do some research.
