You were missing the ] on the end Amie, that's why it didn't show. So that's Llanite, way cool rock, nice colors. How big is that thing? Looks like quite a good sized piece, no wonder your hubby thought you were crazy. ;D ;D ;D Cher

Amie, I don't think you were briefed on picture etiquette, but you aren't allowed to show grass in any of your pictures, it's just cruel and unusual punishment to those of us with no grass & lots of white powder that won't melt!! You must refrain from showing any of that green stuff until at least mid-May

One thing you left out in your pic was something for scale so we have an idea of how big it is. Do you have a yardstick or something that you can lay beside it? LOL Most of us use quarters for scale but from the size of that monster I think something bigger is in order. I've been reading some stuff about Llanite and that's definitely an awesome specimen.

LOL !! ;D ;D ;D That's perfect. OMG Did you say you carried that out yourself? That thing must weigh a ton. Any plans on what you're going to do with it? It's apparent you can't saw it and it looks like you need someone from a rock gang to bust it up. Thanks for the pic, I had to laugh when I saw it, like I said, most of us use quarters for scale. Great Pic!!

Sorry about the green stuff. I have no idea what I am going to do with it. I have no idea how much it weighs. My back has not recovered enough to pick it up again to weigh it.My family is just about sick of rocks so I am not going to get much help from them. It is pretty bad when my five year old says "when I get old maybe I will understand why you love rocks so much mom".Who's old?
