OMG ... can we say "totally jealous" and "I want to be there"! That striped stone is really nice and the whole area is just beautiful. Thanks for sharing Ron.

Gee, all these folks with these amazing rocks almost in their back yards, and poor little me trying desperately to get something that isn't leaverite or driveway gravel to tumble. Someone gave me a rock with both mica & pyrite - don't think I'll tumble that chunk though, looks like it would make a mess...
Nice rocks - I thought it was just a HUGE chunk of tiger eye not realizing that it's THE rock (it is THE ROCK right?)

No, but they do contain large deposits of Tiger Eye. These pictures were shot near Nullagine in Western Australia. They are famous for their Tiger Eye.
