I have a very dear client who has been buying from me for years. We were talking and she mentioned she had at least 30- I had lost count. But, she has cabs, too. Anyway, out of curiosity, I asked her how they are holding up. She wears them quite often. She said they are holding up beautifully with no snags and get this- no tarnish. I dont use argentium, so I can only surmise that those Sunshine cloths that I use and send out with purchases is even better than I thought they were- and I have a very high opinion of them. They say they retard tarnish. They aren't kidding!

So what are "those" Sunshine cloths and where can I get them ? You can get them in lots of places. I buy mine from Rio Grande. They are made in Japan and are very high quality. They last forever and ever. I have been using them since I started wrapping about 20 years ago. Use them until they are black, filthy and soft and THEN use them to straighten wire, too. DO NOT get them wet.

I get them at T riogrande.com. The yellow Sunshine cloths are great. Rio has several other colors now. Haven’t used them.
I think I’ll start wrapping my silver pieces in Sunshine! Thanks for the idea.

I use them, too. Love them! I get them at Rio, also. I just recently placed an order because I was on my last yellow one, so I sprung for the blue and pink ones, too. The blue are polishing cloths that are less abrasive than the yellow and the pink are more abrasive. I've used the blue ones and I like them. I haven't tried the pink out yet, but I think they may be able to produce a satin finish. I'm going to have to play with some scrap to test them out.

Guess I need to get some now.
