Go in peace.
He was one of my favorite actors. This is very sad news for me. I loved his characters. No matter the film, he brought it all. I never even missed his "B" films because he always turned in an "A" performance. Not surprisingly, BladeRunner was my fav of his. His portrayal of Roy made the film what it is- A classic.

The "tears in the rain" ending scene ranks as one of the best in any movie. I have heard the movie described as Film Noir - Science Fiction, a perfect description.
