I'm ready to move to the 325 on the Howardite and it is fracture free after slab fracture and first preform fracturing.

I'm ready to move to the 325 on the Howardite and it is fracture free after slab fracture and first preform fracturing. I had some nice old howardite rough. SOMEHOW, it got thrown in a box with bigger rough and it just came apart. I don't even know what is salvageable.

No real surprises. Cabs looked like preforms. Howardite Tahoma The Stinking water material for this cab had too much plume and not enough agate. It polished fine but I like for the plumes to stand out more. This cab which is BM or maybe Morrisonite is something that I found in a plastic tray that I use for unfinished cabs that I don't want to work on. It's been in hot, cold and rain for a long time. I'm sure that I didn't make but was fixing it. One of the girdles was thicker than the others and had a chip. I fixed the girdle, made minor adjustments and polished.

Good ones. Truth about the Stinking Water and similar types being better with more agate.
