First time working with this material. Took a lot of precautions to ensure there was no dust and wore gloves. First photo is the reverse side side of the slabette I started with. Lots of Dremel work to shape. Put in my stash of cabs ready to polish. Then into tumbler. It has been rolling for about a month so far. Guessing there is another month to go. It sort of looks like a baby seal to me (head is at bottom of photo). All I was going for was a flowing free form shape.

Very cool shape! How big is it? Looks pretty big. 2" long. Fairly thin, but has a nice dome on top.

Nice progress. Added a photo to show the dome. The "seal" is resting on what I think is a coral fossil. Self found on my land.

I hope you will wire wrap it. Great shape for it.

I hope you will wire wrap it. Great shape for it. That is what I am planning. Will need to determine exact wire, but not silver.
