Has the side been cut? Too me it looks like part of a plume agate ?

...looks like part of a plume agate ? Yep, a really nice angelwing/angel wing formation! Some of them can have fantastic angelwing tops. Yours looks like it is specimen-worthy. Do you know from where it was dug? One of my favorite angelwing agates came from the Geode Kid's Twickenham, Oregon dig. This is one of my remaining favorites that does show how the term "angelwing" got its name: Agate with interesting angelwing tops come from several locations, and there are people who collect these for the angelwing rather than the plume or moss pattern within.

If it was from me it came from Catron county NM, and if I would have seen the curly blonde on the back and baboon I would have kept it, not to mention the owl eyes and yogi the bear.
