Has anyone worked Birdseye rhyolite? I'm looking for any tips in getting a decent final polish on it, and maybe it's impossible. Seems like there are several hardnesses going on and it either is undercutting or some of the material just won't take a polish. I've tried Diamond and cerium oxide. I'd appreciate any advice or suggestions!

I was curious if that was unique to it specifically, or if any other rhyolite materials don't take a good polish either. It's so cool looking, but the cabs are just sort of meh...

If I remember right, birds eye polishes about like noreena, which is to say- not great, but ok.
