One wild guess is that it is a tumbled piece of hematite. Scratch the red part across a light rock and see if you get a red streak. It definitely had a botryoidal structure at one time.

I would not say feldspar... quartz family most likely. It's pretty cool. I wonder what other weird rocks are nearby?

This stone looks like quartz with some crystalline areas.

Agree that it is quartz, not feldspar.

It is botryoidal chalcedony on agate. any crystals, if there were any, have been worn away. As a test take a quartz Crystal or a flint arrow head and try to scratch the stone. My guess it theat they will mutually scratch each other. This proves a hardness of 7. If quartz easily scratches the go the feldspar route with botryoidal chalcedony. The botryoidal part is definately chalcedony so it is hardness of 7.

I am assuming the silver/white circles in the lower center of the first photo are just reflections of the light source. If not and those are inclusions of some sort in a translucent silicate material then you could have something pretty interesting there. But to me this looks like a weathered botryoidal chert with some oxide staining. I have some very similar pieces I collected along lake Mi as well. The botryoidal form does make it a relatively uncommon find. I see no indication of it being an agate of any sort.
