Good day. 2,3,4 are from the same 31 flavors slab. They all started with 3mm preforms. I usually make flat tops which is a challenge for me since my templates are one side and getting them even is tough. That went fine and I decided to make a 2mm girdle with a low dome so they would photograph better. Doing a little grinding on number 3 really improved the scene. 2,3 and 4 were intended to be B cabs but someone might like them. Favored Morrisonite cabs are usually orby or with streamers like no 1.
I also solved a recent issue with small flat spots. I made multiple attempts to deal with small flat spots on an Owyhee that I psoted recently. I've been doing most of my work on my Genie because I don't want to take apart my 8 inch stardiamond machine to change wheels right now. I only use it for the 600 and 1200 grit. It's a beast with a big motor and vibrates a lot. I needed to finish off the grit with a really light touch. I also started drying cabs to better see problems instead of seeing them after polishing and having to go back and fix.
