Those both look really cool. I think the bails turned out great. Bails are what I struggle with the most at this time. I am starting to think that jasper is my favorite stone.
Thanks for sharing. I like the groove wrap, and the incorporation of leather. I need to find some leather necklace material like that and start designing wire wraps (like these) that can go with them.

Yep, the bails are difficult for me too. I've seen the tutorials but always end up just sort of freehanding it the best I can. One day I'll find somebody I can sit down with and get a little hands on experience from somebody who can do these. I really like the leather wrap also. Donnies Treasure makes some beautiful ones. They look especially cool with the Indian Paint rock she likes to use. I kind of made one from some leather cord I put pendants on. The groove wasn't as wide as it should be. I don't know if those diamond cutting disks like twofers sells comes in different widths or not. I would like to get a wider disk for the leather wrap.

I think you would have to do one groove, raise the wheel and cut another right next to the first.

Those came out nice. I wouldn't worry about the bails. They are just taking a little longer to come to you. After a while, you'll get it.
