Here's a before and after of the latest Tee Pee I'm working on, it's different than the others I've collected. Mostly reds. Still have some work to do to get the back flat, then into the tumbler. I still don't know if these Tee Pees will take a polish in the rotary- I finally have some moving on (500 grit right now) so I should know in a few weeks. Thanks for looking.

Nice! I haven't tumbled any, but I have cabbed tee pees with great polish. You shouldn't have a problem.

Are you holding the rock in one hand, and the Dremp in the other to do this??

You can get an gadget that clamps onto your work table. The business end holds your Dremel securely in a horizontal position, so you can hold the rock with both hands. Much easy to manipulate.
Be careful about which holder you get. They are made specifically for Dremels, or for Foredoms.
I think I got it from riogrande.com.

Wow, Mike you have a lot of patience. I really can't imagine the effort required to get from from step A to B without many hours of effort.
The good news is that you will have a real looker on your hands when it is finished. That rock has a lot of character.
When you post an update, could you put a coin next to it for size reference? That would help me a lot too.
Keep up the good work!

Until they fracture, anyway! I'll try and remember to do a pic with a coin, but it will be weeks from now. The stone is maybe an inch and a half long and about three quarters of an inch wide I'm guessing.
