How about some Asian music while master carver Xiang Duan carves some figures out of rock.

That is one incredibly talented artist. The thinness of those walls that are carved in the shell are unbelievable.
That video almost did a disservice to the artist because it made it look too easy. They should at least show the hundreds of cracked and shattered rocks that were sacrificed while those skills were developed.

Sure looks like he has some fancy agates as river rocks. And, neither my diamond blades or burrs seem to ever cut agate that fast. For me it was always many worn out diamond tools and total frustration just to try and make a dang bead or drill a cab. That guy has great talent but must have some fine diamond tools too.

WOW! I had to watch this twice...not because I wasn't paying attention the first time! LOL I thought the crab claw was going to be the highlight, but it just seemed to get better and better! Thanks for posting this RickB! chandler - I'm glad this got dragged from the depths!
