Nice work, I like how it is rounded at the top too. It's actually more like a drilled cabochon rather than an actual bead but semantics aside it's cool. I know someone on instagram I think that's where I saw it, who makes large cylinder beads for lanyards out of rock. Pretty interesting process. Wish I had the equipment to do it too.
This piece would look good on a black leather cord.
