Did not see a place for beads so I thought I would post this here... it was a cab before I drilled it. 39 mm across and 8 mm thick. It took a good shine...

Nice shine and pattern, but what really caught my eye was what is not there - beautiful hole!
Don't get to say that often - or ever - could get someone seriously injured.

I really like the way you rounded the corner above the hole. Nice job.

Beautiful beads, especially that first one. Did you use a ball bur to smooth those holes?

Yeah, straight burr to drill then a ball to ease the edge to reduce wear on jump ring or bail. This one might look good on a leather cord.

Nice work, I like how it is rounded at the top too. It's actually more like a drilled cabochon rather than an actual bead but semantics aside it's cool. I know someone on instagram I think that's where I saw it, who makes large cylinder beads for lanyards out of rock. Pretty interesting process. Wish I had the equipment to do it too. This piece would look good on a black leather cord.
