Bummer. So many beautiful slabs. Maybe try Hxtal instead. It's easier, IMO and works well. Mix it up, apply to the fractures with a toothpick, let it sit for a week to harden. It will wick it's way through the fractures. I usually set my slabs on a couple of toothpicks over some wax paper in case it leaks all the through.
